What is causing that roll like effect on the tail end of notes @03:00
That is actually an interesting concept that I haven't thought of.
jesus that bass is sticking out like a sore thumb. this guy supposed to be a good mixer?
you mean a bass?
Song name? Sounds juicy
Sounds like a whole different rift 🤘🏽 good info to know , thanks
I’ve been bussing all the drums to a bus with convolution IRs to create the fake room. This way I have control over how much signal from each mic is being sent to the “room” so I can mimic a room sound where the snare is cutting and the kick is subdued.
Sounds good but do mixing (and mastering) engineers understand that some people get tired of hypra compressed music!?
Pick attack is something you want and that's what you hear with a brighter amp
bro's playing a right handed guitar like a lefty 😭😭
Man getting rid of my mouse and going to new style ball moose was best move ever. Watching him bang that thing back and forth just to move the mouse got my anxiety going
Mixing when you stack Neural plugins is fine, but if you want the same tone live it doesn't work because latency between the plugin's will stack as well.
Just demoed Mixhead. It's so good it's scary
Where? Can't find shit online.
@mrcoatsworth429 Sorry man. I meant the MixHead plugin!!! Amazing
His down strokes are up strokes, his up strokes are down strokes? it's got me wanting to jump, so I guess the saying is true,Different strokes for (DEFIANT) folks !🤘😎
That stereo widener being automated on during choruses is hella interesting.. 👀🏃🏾💨
I love what he mentioned about analog gear and consoles have imperfections between left/right of stereo channels. This is why I love what a lot of plugins are doing now where you can select random channel numbers on console emulations to add that extra difference between channels.
just more bs to lure the customer
Thank you!!!
Give us a link or a .com whatever for that saturator please.
Good stuff
Had the pleasure of working with Mike on a few records. Dude is a genius with a heart of gold! Truly remarkable human being.
Post Malone and also Owen Wilson: Wow
Joe rogan: oh wooowwwwww
The comment about guitarist vs amp relationship while recording is spot on, when you hear yourself play through an amp you always adjust your hand location to get the sweet spot for palm mutes, on every amp it's just very slightly different. Sometimes you switch the amp sim and it just doesn't work unless you re-record the take.
No one listens to that kind of genre anymore. Dead music
Man I do tf u mean
How do you justify millions of views on Spotify and UA-cam then? 🤔
I also sometimes like to say things to hear myself talk
just because you don't doesn't mean nobody does
What you're saying is you listen to what is popular. Keep following the herd.
Sounds way better than all the brick walled ass octuple tracked shit seems like everyone does now
Someday, he may learn there are also "a loooot of....options" in chords and scales. 🤡
this song sounds so good, lol
Omega sounds British to you? Sounds more like Mesa but even better
if neural is watching: you shouldn't have to use three separate instances of plugins to achieve what's being done here. please give us an interface similar to THU, Bias, Helix, etc that allows you to use all of your purchased components in a single window / interface.
100% agree! It's especially weird because it seems like they're now pulling all the plugins to the same framework "version" so to speak with the new X releases. One can just hope that thye'll do something once they're done with upgrading all of the plugins to X releases. At least now they're somewhat on feature parity.
I think they want to do it under quad cortex
@@yigit_kuru They kind of already do it, but that's a damn high entrance fee then :D
i wish. STLtones has something like this with amp hub and tone hub and it works for them. im pretty sure neural with get to this within the next few years..
1000000% agree!! Surely it would save a tonne of cpu too, not having to stack multiple instances?
What's the name of the song?
Approaching a more philosophical side of the tone chase was very cool to hear. We need more abstract talks about textures, intentions and aesthetic of sound. The mere fact that "shhhhhh" evokes 3-5khz is a testament to how useful these descriptions are.
Does anyone knows what song is this?
Cool man, Will try this different tube trick! Nice! This plugin is really cool! Both Neural Cali and Omega are great!
Really wish neural dsp would take the Amplitube approach and have an all in one plugin for tomes.
And while that might be a good approach, however, that won't make them a lot of money because their business model is to allow people to sound like their favorite artists, and not to be able to have an all in one digital amplifier. The best ones I would probably recommend if you do want flexibility are Archetype Nolly, Plini, Petrucci and Tim Henson.
it seems everyone still using the Omega plugin. i have the nolly and Petrucci ones. Nolly is great for like Lamb of god tones for that style.. but i can't dial it in as good as how he's making these 2 amp sims sound. it would be nice to have them. I'm probalby going to just buy the Omega , it's the right tone for 8 string stuff
That would be nice, but why would they bother doing that when they already have people willing to pay the same price as Amplitube for ONE amp?
@@TheOneGuitarGuy They could easily follow a similar approach to STL with AmpHub, where you basically have the hub software and unlock the amp models with individual purchases. I mean they're basically already doing that with the x plugins and the QuadCortex.
"the frequenxies that would make you cringe" was hilarious
why the fck the guitare is upside down
mixing is an art form that is so complex and subjective
Sound advice 😬😉
Show us how to do the super secret pick slide /scratch trick, please! I've been trying that one for a while in different ways and none work!
Used the guitar like jimmy 😉
After the cab sim, are those three pedals all eqs?
What is the lift pedal?
Very cool, Machine is the man
Incredibly valuable advice !
Don't you love how everyone *"Qualify's" their opinion by first starting with "I'm really not a fan of NICKELBACK"... Hahaaaaaaaaaaaa. Yeah, ok... We believe you... You sap
what is the mulitband plug in doing? and isnt this the same technique Eddie Van Halen used in the 70s-80s?
Palm muting like it's something new
Why upside down? Doesn't that reverse the notes?
What do you mean secret? This is one of the most basic teachings of playing metal and has been since the eighties. But more dominant in the 90s. This is one reason I hate social media because any idiot can claim something and by default of ignorance people will believe it.
Very amansing
Daaaaamn 🤘
